The Nine Star Story
I need to work towards my goals in life better.
My morning class was canceled today; I just had to attend my sculpture class. The project is about half way finished. I’m waiting for the steamer so the strips of lumber can bend easier, and then all I have to do is glue.
I’m starting to have better meals for breakfast. Usually I have just a bowl of cereal for breakfast, and then a big dinner. I felt more productive than usual, and the day was spent nicely.
Dee and I stayed in today to do some school work. The Texas chili we made, which had red wine and beer, was pretty good. Then we went for a walk around my neighborhood.
Dee is visiting for the weekend, but we both have a lot of school work to do.
It was nice and cool out today. It feels nicer walking around campus in 70 degree weather instead of 90. I’m glad winter is approaching.
I started reading Sir Gawain and the Green Knight for my literature class; this is my first time to read it. I’ve enjoyed reading it so far.
I did a few tweaks to the site design; it’s nothing too drastic. I need to set aside more time to update often.
I had a nice visit back in Houston during the weekend. The wooden spoon I have been working on is near completion; I’m glad I was able to work on it while at home. I saw the movie: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, and I thought it was delightful.
